lol, nerfed because of HA? yea right. minions was never overpowered in pvp. to people that knew better, the necromancer was always the first one to die as soon as the other team saw the first minion pop up. and since you are speaking of pvp, the only reason a MM would be such a big problem in factions pvp areas is because of the added npc (corpses) in those areas and no dp. which brings me back to my previous statement, MM was nerfed because of factions. now if we necromancers wanted to, we could still run through almost all missions with 40 - 50 minions. it would just take four or five MMs to do it instead of one or two.

now i may not have agreed with the minion limit nerf. i do understand why arenanet did it. i would have much rather them limit the number of npcs that would leave corpses after dying instead of nerfing the minions. or, a similar approach to what the OP is describing, something like what i have listed as my signature, but on a not so restrictive basis. maybe for ever 5 minions you control, you suffer a -1 energy regeneration.
